We are seeking a talented and experienced Director to oversee the operations of a Japanese restaurant business in Singapore. As a Director, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and managing the overall performance and growth of our organization.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the success and expansion of the Japanese restaurant business in Singapore.
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including financial management, budgeting, sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competition to identify growth opportunities and make informed business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, health and safety standards, and licensing requirements.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development.
- Set performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), and regularly assess progress against goals.
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the brand and increase customer engagement.
- Maintain financial discipline by overseeing budgeting, cost management, and financial reporting activities.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, representing the company's interests and maintaining excellent relationships.
- Proven experience in a senior management role within the restaurant industry, preferably with expertise in Japanese cuisine.
- Strong business acumen and a track record of successfully driving business growth and profitability.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse workforce.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage management, inventory control, and quality assurance.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Japanese.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred).
