**Job Descriptions**
- Responsible for procuring space at highly competitive rates for assigned trade lanes
- Responsible for taking the lead in managing the procurement of Ocean Freight, connecting with Head Quarter and Regional Group Leader for setting the Pricing Strategy and streamlining the RFQ process for the Southeast Asia region.
- Work closely with all parties across the organization to achieve the growth goals for company ocean service.

**Responsibilities**:
Procurement
- Procure and negotiate with Ocean Carriers / Logistics Service Providers to obtain competitive rates and regular allocation.
- Develop and maintain a close relationship with Carrier in the Southeast Asia region.
- Act as a tactical control tower regarding space and capacity - find solutions to redistribute or procure additional capacity where needed.
- Review and monitor conversion rate of FAK/NAC rate as well as success rate from RFQ submission
- Analyse pricing gap and work closely with internal stakeholders to improve pricing competitiveness.

Sales Enablement
- Maintain ocean freight rate, local handling charge, and other surcharges database to be shared with the Business Development team
- Involve in customer RFQ and provide pricing strategy input.
- Proactively share connections and generate sales leads.
- Driving growth
- Work closely with the Business Development team to drive revenue growth and profitability of the appointed trade lane.
- Improve the volume and net revenue growth through smart and effective procurement

**Job Requirement**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred
- At least 8 years procurement experience in the international freight forwarding industry
- Successful track record in B2B negotiation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of the ocean freight forwarding market and operation
- Multi-tasking and cross-functional collaboration capability
- Highly self-motivated and driven
- Proficient in Microsoft Words, Excel and Presentation
- Good at pricing evaluation, strategic cost assessment and budget management.
