**Description**:
Working with the Senior Finance Manager, APAC, the Finance team in Singapore and Thailand and partnering with the MDD APAC and EMEA COO as well as the MDD Asia leadership team to provide a commercially focused Finance advisory and accounting support. This is a new role due to an internal promotion which will cover MDD's Asia markets; Singapore, Hong Kong, UAE, Thailand, Japan and South Korea.

This is an exciting and challenging role, working as the internal accounting function within a professional services firm of qualified accountants. Along with the team, you will be responsible for the full ranges of management accounting, accounts payable and corporate secretariat activities. You will build excellent relationships with the business leaders of each market as a trusted source of accurate data and analysis on cash flow, tax, financial statements, local accounting policy and ensuring good audit grades are achieved.

**Your New Role**:

- Oversee the Finance and Accounting team
- Prepare/review monthly financial reports, quarterly reporting
- Prepare/review quarterly GST filing
- Responsible for cash flow management, planning and funding requirements
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors in relation to audit requirements, including preparation of audited financial statements
- Liaise and work with tax agent on tax compliance matters and review tax computation prepared by tax agent
- Liaise with the corporate secretary for all corporate secretarial matters
- Preparation and presentation of audited financial statements or tax computations to stakeholders.
- Maintain and ensure compliance with accounting policies, guidelines, and internal control.
- Review, analyse and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Provide advice and support to the less experienced team members
- Any other duties as assigned from time to time

**What You'll Bring to the Role**:

- Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Extensive experience in a similar position (with supervisory experience)
- Expert level in Microsoft Excel is a must
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Highly committed team player
- Independent and hands-on with a positive learning attitude
- Able to communicate and manage stakeholders
- Ability to work and interact with department and client organisations
