**What the role is**
- MSF’s Communications and Engagement Division spearheads and executes communication and citizen engagement initiatives to promote greater public awareness for MSF’s policies and programmes.
**What you will be working on**
He/she will work with MSF divisions to consolidate and strengthen volunteer efforts under the MSFCare Network brand and foster a unified identity across our volunteers. Specifically he/she will support the team to develop and roll-out a volunteer management framework and processes that provide strategic guidance and alignment as OneMSF, including supporting and tracking the recruitment of volunteers, training for volunteers and volunteer managers and volunteer engagement and appreciation. He/She will also work with agencies to ascertain best practices that inform our volunteer management processes.
The role involves:
- Outreach and Engagement
- Execute best practices in volunteer management, improving the experience of MSF volunteers and building internal capabilities to strengthen volunteer management
- Design and implement volunteer engagement programmes e.g. learning journey, networking opportunities, appreciation events.
- Analyse engagement efforts and reports.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external partners such as community partners to facilitate ground-up volunteer initiatives.
- Marcom and Content Creation and Curation
- Develop and implement a range of marketing, training / learning collaterals, in accessible formats to promote our volunteer programmes.
- Curate social posts, internal comms materials.
- Provide inputs to talking points, speeches relating to the volunteer / engagement programme.
- Data Analytics and Research
- Administer annual volunteer surveys.
- Develop and maintain an accurate database for tracking/reporting and drawing insights.
- Brand Strategy and Management
- Engage advocates and share their stories on our digital platforms.
- Execute the implementation of brand guidelines and ensure compliance.
**What we are looking for**
- Tertiary qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience preferred in:
- Volunteer and community partnership programmes management; and/or
- Stakeholder engagement and/or community relation
- Data analysis
- Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work well with a diverse group of professionals from the public and private sectors.
- Likes working with complex issues and to develop win-win solutions.
