**Position Overview**:The Sales Director for South East Asia is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving sales growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and managing a high-performing sales team within the South East Asia region. The individual in this role will play a critical part in achieving revenue targets, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships in the designated region.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales Strategy and Planning**:Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives within the South East Asia market.
Identify market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with senior management to align sales goals with overall business objectives.
- **Team Leadership and Management**:Recruit, train, manage, and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team targets.
Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and facilitate professional development plans for team members.
- **Market Expansion and Business Development**:Identify new business opportunities, potential clients, and untapped markets within the South East Asia region.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business growth and customer satisfaction.
- **Revenue Generation**:Lead the sales team to consistently achieve or exceed sales quotas and revenue targets.
Implement effective pricing strategies, discount structures, and negotiation tactics to optimize revenue generation.
- **Sales Operations and Forecasting**:Monitor sales metrics, analyze data, and generate accurate sales forecasts and reports.
Ensure efficient sales processes, lead management, and pipeline management systems are in place.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product, and customer service to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Communicate market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to internal stakeholders.
- **Budget Management**:Develop and manage the sales budget for the South East Asia region, ensuring optimal resource allocation for achieving sales goals.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and major accounts, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- **Travel**:Willingness to travel within the South East Asia region to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support the sales team.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of successful sales leadership and achieving revenue targets, ideally in a similar role within the South East Asia market.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of the South East Asia market, including cultural nuances and business practices.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in relevant sales software and CRM systems.
- Fluency in English and potentially other languages spoken in the region.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and travel requirements.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience a must in software regional sales
