**What the role is**
- The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) aspires to be a world-class organisation in delivering safety and security for our people. In pursuing our mission to make Singapore our Safe and Secure Best Home, we remain always constant and true to our core values of Honour and Unity MHA Finance Shared Services Centre (FSSC) serves to increase efficiency and improve customer experience in financial services of the Ministry and our Home Team Departments (HTDs). The role of a Business Insights (Senior) Executive is to support finance performance monitoring and optimisation using analytics. You will be expected to partner stakeholders to understand their needs, analyse data and propose solutions. Opportunities/Takeaways for jobholder i. Make an impact - you will have the opportunity to shape financial operations and governance in one of the bigger ministries in Civil services ii. Own your work - you will be given a high level of autonomy and responsibility over the work that you produce iii. Expansion of skills and career development - you are given the opportunity to build and implement analytical data pipelines and robots for RPA that will allow you to gain experience in these tech related fields iv. Work with a centralised finance team within Ministry Headquarters and learn about finance, financial technologies and driving business sustainability.
**What you will be working on**
- i. You are a contributor for the analytics team to analyse finance data, and develop analytical solutions (i.e. dashboards, visualisation or other products). ii. Maintain existing analytics products (dashboards or systems) by introducing missing dimensionality, replacing existing charts to support data monitoring and trend analysis, improving system performance, and troubleshooting system performance issues. iii. Partner stakeholders to understand their needs, and to propose and implement process improvement plans to improve efficiency/effectiveness. iv. Present findings and work outcome at stakeholder meetings.
