Overview

Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within the APAC region for both Corporate and Private Client Services.
Lead potential clients through the full sales cycle – from prospecting and initial contact through to deal closure – ensuring the client’s solutions are aligned with client business objectives.
Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with clients, intermediaries, and business partners.
Develop and implement business development strategies to nurture leads into qualified sales opportunities, working closely with marketing and product teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Stay informed of industry trends, client needs, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and strengthen Sovereign’s market positioning.
Represent the client at their client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.
Ensure exceptional levels of client service throughout all stages of engagement.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of proven sales/business development experience, preferably in financial services, corporate services, trust, or wealth management.
TEP (Trust and Estate Practitioner) qualification preferred.
Strong understanding of the services industry, with insights into customer needs, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage credibly with high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and corporate clients.
Highly motivated self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
Strong networking ability and commercial acumen.
