DESIGNATION : Associate, Human Resources (Payroll)

RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Associate will work closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development to assist and support in HR related functions of the assigned business division. Responsible for performing payroll processes in accordance with set procedures and in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Perform end-to-end monthly payroll processing and payments to vendors
- Process claims such as Childcare Leave, NS, Maternity claims and other statutory claims
- Submission of CPF, IR21 and IR8A income tax (taxable and non-taxable), and tax filing.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements for all pay related matters
- Respond to employees’ queries and provide support to departments when needed
- Responsible and accountable for general ledger and reconciliation along with responding to any Finance related queries.
- Attend to auditor's request and queries for payroll matters
- Participate in system update activities
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Finance) where necessary
- Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports
- Create and maintain standard operating manuals for all payroll processes.
- Strong understanding of all local HR policies in order to support customers’ queries around payroll matters and also payroll processing.
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Diploma with at least 3 years of payroll experience for at least 1000 headcount in a local setting
- Tech-savvy with good proficiency in Microsoft Office (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP) and Google suite
- Demonstrate high level of confidentiality and compliance in terms of private and confidential data management, documents and process control
- Able to interact and communicate with all levels of staff
- Good knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act, CPF and Income Tax legislation
- Experience in HR Shared Services environment with SAP / SuccessFactors system will be an added advantage
