Airworthiness Manager

We are looking for a Continuing Airworthiness Manager whose responsibilities will include:
- Manage the airworthiness of rapidly growing fleet of 30+ aircraft operating worldwide
- Supervise and oversee a dedicated team of airworthiness analysts
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and liaise with the aircraft operator’s maintenance and operations departments
- Liaise with the various Regulatory Authorities i.e. FAA, EASA, SMAR, BCAA, CAACI, IoMAR on all airworthiness matters
- Coordinate maintenance activities with the relevant MRO’s and ensure standards and compliance
- Manage QM, internal audit functions and manage external audits
- Manage and revise the approved company Maintenance Control Manual (MCM)
- Implement new procedures and guidelines to grow the company and improve compliance
- Oversee the systems of management of Airworthiness Directives & OEM Service Bulletins & Letters
- Oversee the storage and archiving of all continuing airworthiness records and aircraft logbooks
- Manage the various aircraft maintenance and reliability programs
- Manage EIS & aircraft registration changes
- Manage the approval of modification and repairs
Who you are:
- You should possess a relevant engineering degree or an aircraft maintenance technician qualification with additional education. A relevant engineering degree refers to an engineering degree from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic or other studies that are relevant to the maintenance and / or continuing airworthiness of aircraft / aircraft components. This can be replaced by a minimum of ten years of experience covering an appropriate combination of experience in tasks related to aircraft maintenance and / or continuing airworthiness management and / or surveillance of such tasks.
- Have at least five years’ previous experience in an airline / MRO / Independent CAMO as an approved CAMO Manager.
- Self-motivated and self-driven, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and enjoy working as part of a team
- Have proven ability to manage and scale an airworthiness derpartment
- Have proven ability to manage time and workloads for maximum efficiency
- Demonstrate appropriate attitude and behaviour in support of safe working practices
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with a high degree of attention to detail
