**Varel Singapore, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel**is set to open in Q4 2025 / Q1 2026, and we’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented **Reservations Manager**to join our pre-opening team.

**Job Summary**

As Reservations Manager, you will lead the reservations team in driving revenue, optimizing occupancy, and delivering personalized guest experiences. You will play a pivotal role in pre-opening preparations, system setup, and team training, ensuring seamless reservation operations aligned with Tribute Portfolio’s independent spirit and Marriott standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Strategic Reservations & Revenue Optimization**
- Set up reservations SOPs, systems, and workflows for pre-opening
- Analyze market trends and competitor data to identify revenue opportunities
- Monitor daily pickup, forecast accuracy, and same-day selling strategies
- Collaborate with Revenue and Sales teams to optimize room inventory and pricing

**Daily Reservations Operations**
- Ensure accuracy in room blocks, billing instructions, and guest profiles
- Manage group bookings, rooming lists, and special requests
- Track no-shows, cancellations, and waitlist priorities
- Generate contracts and proposals for group and corporate bookings

**Guest Experience & Brand Alignment**
- Deliver personalized service that reflects Tribute Portfolio’s brand personality
- Handle guest complaints and special requests with empathy and efficiency
- Build guest loyalty through proactive communication and thoughtful touches
- Ensure all reservation touchpoints reflect brand tone and service standards

**Team Leadership & Training**
- Recruit, train, and mentor reservations team members
- Develop onboarding plans and ongoing training modules
- Monitor call quality and reservation accuracy
- Create monthly schedules and manage team productivity

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Support system integration and testing during pre-opening
- Maintain reservation-related content across booking platforms
- Liaise with IT and vendors for system setup and troubleshooting
- Prepare reports for management on booking trends and performance

**Education & Experience**
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in reservations, front office, or revenue management
- Pre-opening experience is an advantage
- Familiarity with Marriott systems (e.g., MARSHA, Opera, OneSource) preferred
