DESIGNATION : Manager (Digital Content Producer), OCCM
RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for Office of Corporate Communications and Marketing (OCCM).
- Conceptualise, develop storyboards, script, direct, film and edit content for videos, podcasts and other rich media platforms, including basic audio balancing.
- Project manage end-to-end aspects of content production for SMU, with both the in-house technical team or external production houses, and ensure projects are completed to industry standards.
- Direct and film interviews and interesting stories that will increase our brand and reputation and awareness of our offerings.
- Direct the use of locations and the scenes set up, when required.
- Conduct video interviews, storyboard, film and edit videos that can be used.
- Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video production from start to completion.
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing team to align digital content developed with overall content calendar.
- Ensure the completion of all designated projects within a given timeframe and expected quality.
- Brand governance - ensure all videos produced are brand compliant.
- Manage and maintain all inventory of camera, lighting equipment, video assets and manage and maintain postproduction suites for optimal performance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters pertaining to digital visual and audio assets, most notably videos.
- Provide support in additional projects as and when required.
- Provide consultation to internal stakeholders relating to video production.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Tertiary qualification or diploma in Digital Filmmaking/Multimedia/Design/Web Design or a related field with at least 5 years of experience in video filming, producing, and editing.
- solid portfolio in photography, film, video production, with at least 2 years of experience in producing digital content.
- Experience in producing content for social video platforms such as Tik Tok, YouTube, Instagram.
- Experience using Drupal CMS and project management tools.
- Expertise in simple photography and photo editing skills a plus.
- Expertise in creating animation or motion graphics a plus.
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing.
- Expertise in using apps in Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Ability to grasp technical concepts and new software quickly.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, under tight deadlines, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders of different seniorities.
- Detailed-oriented, with strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and juggle several projects simultaneously.
