DESIGNATION : Assistant Mgr/Snr Assistant Mgr (Admin, Finance & Marketing Services), OCCM

RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for Office of Corporate Communications and Marketing (OCCM)
- Charge expenses to BUs and cost centres by analysing invoices/expenses report and recording entries appropriately
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Assist in the preparation of Quarterly budget report, Annual Budget and budget presentation
- Liaise with Office of Finance to ensure all payment / invoices reconcile with the purchase orders created
- Assist in The SMU Shop annual stock taking exercise
- Support marketing team in brand and marketing policies compliance
- Monitor and balance media master contracts and other marketing subscription and marketing automation contracts
- Assist at official function organised by OCCM ( e.g. Patron’s Day, PDLS, HRH, PSOUs, CD, Commencement, etc)
- Procurement Process via open tender and close pitches

QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or a General Degree
- Financial, Accounting, Secretarial, Google other MS Office certification will be advantageous
- Proficient with MS Office suite and Google suites/apps
- Some understanding of office/marketing automation tools is an added bonus (.e.g. Google Doc, Act-On, Eloqua, Advanced Excel)
- Knowledge and skill in SAP system (finance) will be advantageous
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of financial reporting and basic principle of accounting and book entry.
- Highly organized, meticulous, able to multi-task effectively
- High EQ and tact as the role involve dealing with various stakeholders
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritized work
- Independent and takes initiative. Be resourceful and result oriented
- Matured and composed and can take pressure and challenging work task well
- Team player and understanding of team dynamics is important
- Advantageous for those in the marketing support services function
