**Key Responsibilities**
- Work with all SBUs/Sites to ensure the business in Whitford Tuas, Ctech, ASC Singapore and commercial
team for all SBUs in Singapore can be run safely and operate in compliance with the applicable EHS
regulatory requirements and PPG company requirements.
- To assist site EHS Leadership Team and support its effective operation to insure the strong EHS leadership
commitment and ownership from all levels of employees in Whitford Tuas, Ctech, ASC Singapore and
commercial team for all SBUs in Singapore.
- Plan, organize and coordinate the implementation of PPG Environment/Health/Safety (EHS) management
system.
- Implement consistently corporate policy and EHS regulatory requirements in Whitford Tuas, Ctech, ASC
Singapore and commercial team for all SBUs in Singapore.
- Provide daily technical support and consultation to Whitford Tuas, Ctech, ASC Singapore and commercial
team for all SBUs in Singapore to achieve compliance with PPG and Singapore regulations by working with
all levels of employees.
- Convey, as appropriate, EHS knowledge, practices, technologies and implementation strategies successfully
used by others inside and outside of PPG.
- Participate in new project ACT EHS reviews, audits, and approval processes. Maintain and enhance PPG's
company image, especially on EHS aspects in Whitford Tuas, Ctech, ASC Singapore and commercial team
for all SBUs in Singapore.
- The detail roles & responsibilities are listed as of below but not limited to:
Support sites EHS Leadership team, technical lab EHS coordinator and other safety and health
committee members to develop/implement annual EHS KPIs and work plans driven by the
business needs and their PLP
Conduct the monthly review meeting with the site EHSLT and coordinator to review the EHS
performance and provide the follow up technical supports
Provide daily EH&S management and technical support to Whitford Tuas, Ctech, ASC Singapore
and commercial team for all SBUs in Singapore to:
- Establish and implement EHSMS effectively to achieve yearly EHS objectives/targets
- Conduct the on job EHS training for site EHS staff and other relevant managers/
engineers /operators
- Develop/implement the corrective action plans appropriately for corporate/regional
EHS audit, third party EHS audit, accident/incident follow up & prevention, and other
EHS findings
- Perform the EHSMS internal audit based on ISO14001/ISO45001 requirements
- Promote various of EHS programs, ultimately create a safety culture in PPG
Coordinate, maximize and share the existing EHS resources in PPG to develop and implement the
specific EHS programs driven by the business needs, such as:
- PPG EHS Requirements
- PPG EHS management system
- Major EHS issues in the sites (fire safety, chemical spill, PSM/HAZOP, etc.)
- Other PPG Corporate EHS initiatives
Participate in security related program in Whitford Tuas, Ctech, ASC Singapore and commercial
team for all SBUs in Singapore.

At least Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, safety, engineering, environment or equivalent;
Fluency in English and major language of region.
- Eight (8) years experience in EH&S or related area.
Ability to operate simultaneously in multiple EHS disciplines.
Broad understanding of EHS principles and related business functions (e.g., sales, technical, distribution).
Strong communication and influence skills necessary to achieve results.
Innovative and original thinking requiring analytical, interpretive, evaluative, and/or constructive skills to
develop creative solutions.
Ability to interpret regulations/policy to provide specific guidance to multiple SBUs and facilities.
Ability to operate in variety of different cultural settings.
