Team Summary**:
The Visa Business Solutions (VBS) team is a world-class commercial organization experiencing exciting growth opportunities as we expand into new payment flows and continue to grow our core commercial card solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team as we expand to bring payment solutions and associated services to clients around the globe. Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients and Governments. We work closely with Financial Institutions, Issuers, Merchants, FinTechs and other ecosystem players to deliver these services. We believe that the market is at an inflection point whereby Visa can play a larger role in building and delivering solutions around the world. Our focus within Business Solutions is to identify needs, assess opportunities and avenues where we can quickly act upon our vision while ensuring strong execution.
**What a Director in B2B Acceptance does at Visa**:
The B2B Acceptance Client Management team is responsible for building and expanding Visa Commercial card acceptance in Asia Pacific through active management of key acquirers, commercial merchants and launching new acceptance solutions in the region.
**Responsibilities**:
The Director represents Visa externally to the commercial merchant community and is responsible for:
- Increasing Visa Commercial Card acceptance in the region through active engagement with Visa clients and partners
- Launch acceptance products in Asia Pacific to enable new supplier onboarding and customised solutions for supply chains
- Develop, expand and deepen relationships with executives within top B2B Merchants
- Partner with individual markets to understand business needs and local market conditions
- Oversee merchants with a consultative and strategic approach to uncover a full understanding of their card acceptance processes and challenges.
- Contribute active leadership to the VISA business partners and the VBS organization.
- Identify B2B expansion opportunities / agreements with accepting and non-accepting merchants/suppliers and expand B2B commercial volume through Acquisition/Expansion, Partnership or Relationship management
- Ensure merchants/suppliers are optimizing their acceptance environment though use of appropriate tools/solutions.
- Actively develop acceptance deals with suppliers/merchants to position Visa as a preferred method for commercial payment.
- Work closely with the AP MSA team to on key priorities to drive B2B Acceptance initiatives
- Drive deep analytics and deal-modeling leadership, partner closely with regional AEs and BDs, VBS Sales Specialists and MSA, Pricing and other functions.
