**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the antibody discovery team
- Able to oversee multiple development projects, including early and late stage
- Involved in scientific and strategy discussions to achieve R&D milestones
- Identifies, defines and implements processes for the design and optimization of ADCs technologies including novel antibody discovery
- Initiates and maintain external collaborations to advance specific project and meet milestones
- Leverage scientific and technical experiences to initiate new projects and define functional and project strategies for Axcynsis platform and portfolio
- Present data and recommendations to upper management, internal and overseas teams
- Manage and ensure operations in the lab is compliant with Safety, Health and Environment standards of internal and external regulations
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of research, protocols, inventories, SOPs.
- Plan and perform other ad-hoc projects as required

**Qualifications**:

- PhD in Cancer biology, Biochemistry or a related discipline with a minimum 5 years of experience is required
- Demonstrated knowledge of cell culture, molecular biology, protein expression and immunology-related technique is required
- Hands-on work experience in antibody engineering, affinity optimization, with strong understanding of protein-structure function is preferred
- Hands-on experience with ADCs and other multispecific antibodies is preferred
- Experience in leading a project to completion is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional project teams
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced biotech start-up
