We are looking for an experienced Database Manager to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's biodata databases.

They will be responsible for ensuring that our databases are efficient, secure, and accessible to authorized personnel. The Database Manager will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure that the organization's data needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure that database systems are secure, reliable, and available to authorized users.
- Develop and enforce database standards and best practices to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other techniques.
- Develop and maintain data models to ensure that the organization's data is structured effectively.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in science, statistics, information technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in database administration or management.
- Strong understanding of database architecture, data modeling, and query optimization.
- Experience with database security, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
