Job Opportunity: Database Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Oracle database systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our databases.

The successful candidate will design and assess Oracle database schemas, administer and support production databases with 24/7 availability and monitoring, and collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to design scalable database solutions.

In addition, the candidate will develop and maintain schemas, tables, indexes, views, and stored procedures, provide database support for new project implementations, and write scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.

The role requires strong knowledge of database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting, as well as experience with database management tools and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Database Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
  • Experience with database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.
