As a member of our family-owned business, our People & Culture Director will be responsible for leading the regional People and Culture function at Heinemann Asia Pacific from both a strategic and operational perspective. As a key member of the Executive Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end People and Culture cycle and working in collaboration with a team of Human Resources experts in Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Macau in order to drive our regional Human Resources strategy and people agenda. Based in Singapore, you will report directly to our Chief Executive Officer, with a functional dotted line to the Vice President People and Culture at Gebr. Heinemann.
- Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Your new job includes
- develop and implement a long-term effective people and culture strategy for the region that sets the people and culture team up for success in close alignment with our vision, our values and our business strategy and objectives at Heinemann Asia Pacific.
- actively engage with stakeholders locally, regionally and globally to coach, support, lead and navigate areas of focus in order to foster an environment of continuous improvement with a clear focus on further developing and strengthening our key People and Culture pillars, which consist of Performance, Engagement and Retention, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management as well as Learning and Development.
- actively simplify, digitalise and implement system efficiencies to support the Region and our people in a hybrid working environment via a fully integrated Human Resources Information.
- lead and develop high performance teams by implementing besting practices solutions for the corporate office, distribution, retail and cruise entities in Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, Macau as well as Malaysia.
- act as a change agent to support, enable and anchor Regional and Global projects as well as introduce new ways of working that impact the business and our people.
- create and drive engagement, retention and succession planning strategies via effective engagement initiatives, including talent management as well as leadership development.
- cultivate a positive work environment focused on continuous learning and development; aligned to our Employee Value proposition and Human Resources strategy locally, regionally and globally.
- be a Diversity, equality and inclusion advocate that can effectively engage with various stakeholders and inspires commitment to foster a sense of belonging.

What you should bring along
- a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or International Business.
- at least 10 years of progressive generalist Human Resource experience at a Leadership level.
- an independent self-starter with strong leadership skills and commercial acumen.
- strategic and analytical leader with a high aptitude to build, maintain and influence key stakeholders internally and externally.
- demonstrated expertise and leadership capabilities with an ability to deliver strategic and operational advice to support leaders on a wide range of Human Resources and Employee Relations matters.
- competent in navigating complex and dynamic business environments.
- expertise in delivering results and balancing priorities under pressure.
- a pronounced can-do attitude, complemented by the capability to coach, lead, develop, multi-task and the flexibility to handle changing requirements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
