**Your Future Team**:
As part of AIG’s Digital and Direct Marketing (DDM) team, the digital team focuses on designing strategy and solutions that drive the growth of AIG online, including but not limited to improving digital customer interactions, engagement and conversion. Digital enablement coupled with direct marketing capabilities, the DDM team brings to market easy-to-use and easy-to-understand solutions that address the needs of the end consumer.
**Reporting to**:
Digital Enablement Manager
Sitting at the intersection of business, technology, and design, the Digital Enablement Specialist drives the product vision and delivers to market, a product that addresses the market need and represents a viable business opportunity. You are the voice of the customer within the company, articulating what a leading product looks like, rallying cross-functional teams to build it, and iterating on it until the product is right. You are ultimately responsible for the success of these products.
**Daily Responsibilities**:
- Develop a deep understanding of consumers’ needs to drive the success of AIG’s digital experience and product offerings
- Analyze market trends, competitor landscape, customer behaviour, to form an outside-in perspective
- Evaluate potential partnerships and run pilots
- Devise and maintain the product roadmap to guide a product from conception, through design, execution, and continuous improvement after initial launch
- Drive the product planning process and alignment across cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with different functions, including insurance product teams, IT, marketing, customer insights, customer service, finance, claims, legal, corporate communications, to deliver products that meet consumers’ needs
- Create product strategy documents and business cases to illustrate use cases and ROI
- Translate product strategy into product specifications for prototyping and development by IT teams
- Work closely with the IT team and relevant stakeholders on the development, QA, UAT, release, and balance of resources to ensure business success
- Assign metrics to measure success of products
- Analyze key success metrics and incorporate customer feedback to optimize solutions to drive conversions, user growth, retention and engagement
- Manage website content and champion change requests
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business management/ marketing/ computer science
- Basic business competencies
- Basic understanding of a customer’s digital journey
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in research and analysis
- Keen interest in data analysis
- Evidence-based, objective decision making skills
- Active learner
- Customer focused
- Highly focused, enthusiastic and creative thinker
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
- Ability to solve complex problems and constraints
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Prior experience in CMS, project planning, product management roles
- Prior experience in product management and project management software tools
- Prior experience in UI/UX
- Knowledge on the tech stack and development principles
- 1-2 years working experience in digital marketing, digital, ecommerce roles are a plus but not compulsory
