As a manager within South East Asia & Korea (SEAK) Solutions Engineering team, you have an unique opportunity to inspire, grow and lead a diverse and talented team of Solutions Engineers in commercial segment across the region. You will be the go-to person in the development and execution of the priorities and go-to-market strategy of vast growing SEAK commercial segment.
**Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?**
- Growth in market share and pipeline of VMware rich solution and services portfolio across cloud infrastructure and management, software defined network and security, as well as digital workspace and edge
- Clearly defined go-to-market execution plan and scaling the commercial segment
- Grow adoption of VMware solutions within our customers and partners
- Develop and grow the talented commercial solution engineering team to be the trail-blazers and game changers in accelerating companies and organizations’ digital journey
**The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?**
- Business strategy alignment with SEAK Commercial Business leader
- Execution plan on commercial segment growth, including but not limited to driving market awareness and demand generation activities, structuring and aligning solution engineer team to the territory and focused products, and scaling the business through partner ecosystems
- Liaison with regional and country technical and business leaderships, including various business units to execute business growth
- Build a diverse and multi-discipline commercial SE organization that enable business growth across commercial segment
- Chart career roadmap and develop career progression for the commercial solution engineers

The role will be reporting into the Senior Director - Solutions Engineering, SEAK. The role will be leading a diverse multi-discipline energetic solution engineers with focus on commercial segment across SEAK, with an open, innovative and full of new ideas culture.
