Role Description
This full-time on-site role in Singapore is for a Presales/Solution Manager (ESS, Lithium Battery, Micro-Grid). The role involves performing day-to-day tasks such as conducting presales activities, consulting with clients to understand their requirements, and providing tailored solutions. The Presales/Solution Manager will manage projects, perform sales activities, and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs with technical precision.
- Provide technical consultation to customers.
- Create and maintain datasheets, specs, and standards.
- Align technical designs with customer and market needs.
- Deliver sales material with financial and risk insights.
- Partner with R&D, production, and project teams globally.
- Contribute to technical knowledge management.
- Track and manage presales processes with internal tools.
- Implement workflow automation for efficiency.
Seeking Candidates Who
- Have strong technical expertise in lithium battery systems, energy storage (ESS), and microgrid technologies.
- Possess 3–5 years of experience in technical sales, presales engineering, or solution design—especially for telecom, UPS, or renewable energy sectors.
- Are proficient in RFQ/RFP responses, technical documentation, and proposal development.
- Demonstrate knowledge of power electronics, inverters, UPS, and safety certifications.
- Excel in customer engagement, cross-functional teamwork, and managing multiple presales workflows.
- Can operate effectively in a global, collaborative environment with R&D and production teams.
- Are capable of analyzing solution feasibility and providing sound technical advice.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Thrive under pressure and are comfortable with fast-paced, multi-project scenarios.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
- 3–5 years in lithium battery, ESS, UPS, or Micro-grid solution engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of lithium-ion batteries, ESS, Microgrid systems.
- Understanding of power electronics and safety certifications.
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Collaborative, customer-focused, and proactive under pressure.
