**JOB PURPOSE**

ASEA is the largest multi country zone in the AMEA region, consisting of countries from Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, South Korea and Hong Kong Taiwan. It has a total workforce of around 500 people and a combined revenue of 300ME.

Reporting to the Head of ASEA, this role is responsible for the Growth Performance Hub of ASEA and leads a big team of 13 direct and indirect reports across the markets in ASEA; manages and masters the key data sources to provide comprehensive views on performance and foresight to enable Growth Hub activation strategies and Commercial Hub’s execution excellence; influence business strategic roadmap and raise consumer centricity across countries and the zone organization.

**KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES**

**Master of all data sources & its utilisation as an enabler to the Growth hub activation strategies**
- Set country target in consultation with Zone head. Partner on development & governance of Growth choices/Must-Win Choices, implementation, and progress.
- Lead Business analytics, sales and market share reporting, performance tracking and evaluating of ROI. Continuously provide integrated view of performance using various resources & data.
- Provide a clear view on the performance of our portfolio (vs competition / vs forecasts) and identify alerts and opportunities in partnership with the Category teams.
- Provide analytical support for decision making and resource allocation.
- Manage database systems and data providers as well as secure resources & support from Global/Regional counterparts.
- Own measurement & analytics program across all investments.
- Provide Country level Sales target tracking and pay-out calculation.

**Performance Management**
- Drive performance mindset by ensuring regular LT reviews, objective analysis, and communication as well as monitoring agreed next steps.
- Track market performance and execution; track performance on key operational priorities
- Bring analytical insights to Zone head, GMs, Customer & Growth HeadsPerformance on input drivers, Channel performance, Sub-Categories
Measurement of investment including media
- Provide a clear and complete and unbiased view on performance connecting insights coming from financial data, market data and field force data
- Develop KPI tracking and performance monitoring reports to support the overall business objectives.
- Act as Zone head’s “eyes” and provide meaningful strategic recommendations to the leadership team
- Build competitive scans as required leveraging various internal or external resources

**Business Analytics**
- Identify and unlock growth opportunities: market, consumer, shopper and commercial and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Track & predict external dynamics on the business and evolution, work with analytical experts on forecasting.
- Sales targets: Manage process of Country level target setting, track payout aligned with business objectives and tactics. Use Strong expertise with different methodologies to design all elements with regular reviews to improve accuracy, relevance, and impact.
- Own price-volume-NPD activation in the zone including running the workshops with multi-functional team and providing input into the pricing calendar.
- Understand the implications of strategic choices to the Zone/Countries and activate these with Zone LT in every discussion especially related to investment & innovation.

**Measurement & ROI**
- Own the measurement plan for Zone including A/B testing, Digital investments, Result of Media heavy-ups, Channel or Trade investments.
- Activate ROI meta-learnings from Global teams.

**Data Governance**
- Knowledge owner of the mechanics of the various data sources in the zone and be abreast with upcoming changes or one-time challenges. Be in constant interaction with data source owners(IQVIA, Nielsen, Intage etc.)
- Monitor and identify new/additional source of information that can be leveraged including possible e-commerce retailer data.
- Be the key point of contact for the Global Data Steward on the integrity of local data. Support any clarification, remedial actions required.

**Team Leadership**
- Lead, inspire and motivate the team to deliver high performance
- Defines and review team’s priorities aligned to business outcome; conducts regular check in on team’s performance and overall well-being.
- Identifies talents, actively facilities their career development and build succession pipeline for the function.

Foster a feedback and play to win culture in the team.

**Stakeholders**
- Zone Head & GMs, Zone Growth Hub, Country Growth Hubs & Customer Hubs
- Global Support Functions such as Business support, procurement, medical, regulatory, legal, finance and HR.
- External partners (primary and secondary research agencies)

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS**

- Business or scientific background, bachelor’s degree, MBA is a plus
