**ROLE PURPOSE**:
The jobholder will be primarily responsible for coordination on employee benefits matters within the 6 Howden Offices in Asia. In the function of the job, the individual is expected to liaise with the different EB practice leaders per country and their teams. The individual is responsible for streamlining the business referral process amongst the Howden Asia offices and the overall management of documentation flow on any business development opportunity regionally by coordinating with the involved Howden countries. Work with Asian country EB leaders to identify regional opportunities and support the expansion of clients from single country to regional EB appointments. Manage and coordinate renewal process for regional benefit management clients and support the Head of Global Benefits Management with the regional renewal requirements of global clients

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Develop a framework for a seamless EB referral system for the 6 Howden Countries in Asia and other countries that may be agreed in the future between the Regional EB Leader and Global Practice Head.
- Contribute to business development for employee benefits in Asia by ensuring efficient information transfer and overall general management of potential business opportunities and tenders by coordinating with the designated EB teams per country.
- Identifies opportunities to share knowledge, build business networks and develop expertise within their region.
- Works with functional experts within their region to ensure there are effective operational systems and processes in place to support regional EB.
- Acts as a conduit and liaison point between countries to deliver and communicate information and data specifically on country to country business collaboration.
- Develop with country leaders, appropriate materials, for example: country profiles, benchmarking and overview of local regulatory requirements

**Technical**:

- Has a general knowledge of employee benefits business.
- Has an acumen to work on relationships needed for effective collaboration
- Responds to proposal/tender documents in association with experts within their region or across the Group, working with key stakeholders across the Group as required. This will on occasions include leading the proposal/tender response on behalf of the regional group.
- Supports other members of the regional practice group on new business opportunities by managing the information required per country for potential tenders.
- Manages assigned projects and contribute to other projects as required
- Responds appropriately to urgent coordination issues as they arise
- Reports relevant management information and reporting to the Regional EB Head and Global Management Leader as necessary.

- Oversees implementation of defined policies regionally to facilitate regional client oversight and to ensure that relevant internal operations achieve their business objectives

**Environment, Customer Focus and Relationships**:

- Introduce clients to other team members and help maintain these relationships
- Behaves with all clients fairly and ethically
- Builds and maintains close links with peers, key internal and external stakeholders, working with the business, GBM team and other functions to share information, promote the adoption of best practices, identify risks and opportunities and deliver business growth
- Works with marketing and GBM team to develop marketing and communication materials as required, ensuring that the regional and GBM brand is not compromised and the profile of the Operating Entity is raised.
- Solicits advice and guidance, when appropriate, from their GPL/Managing Director
- Shares information that could be beneficial to the Operating Entity/Group
