Team overview

Business Operations Team - our main role is responsible for the implementation of effective, efficient, measured and risk managed exchange operation workflows, procedures and processes such that customers, business and regulatory needs are met, with the goal of continuously improving operational effectiveness. Ensuring harmoniously operational workflows, procedures and processes is key in our daily operations.

We are looking for an experienced Business Operations Manager to join us, to provide strategic business analysis to our business operation partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with the operation teams to gain in-depth understanding of exchange operation, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding the documenting capabilities needed to address business challenges.

To be successful, you will use influence and innovation to maximize change adoption and ensure a positive end-user experience for changes impacting people, process, and technology.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead operation functions in defining operational processes, roles and responsibilities, standard operating procedures and KPIs in supporting the business/customer operation.
- Assess business process and system inefficiencies
- Lead and collaborate with business and technology operations and product teams to define/clarify operational requirements
- Ensures there is a business perspective on how new operations and technical capabilities will be delivered to the business.
- Conduct effective change impact assessments, readiness assessments, and stakeholder analysis
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure the successful execution of the end-to-end change management strategy
- Lead and assist in the creation of test plans that demonstrate readiness to operate business workflows and operational process, identifying test cases/criteria and describing expected business scenarios with which to test
- Support effective business change by building relationships with business leaders, technology and operational business partners
- Manage the communication and regular updates to business stakeholders on 'critical' production incidents and problems impacting customer and business operations
- Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management; identifying and initiating projects; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Business/ Finance or equivalent
- 10 years+ of relevant experience
- Strong domain knowledge in financial exchange operation, ideally crypto exchange, across multiple business operations including finance, treasury and compliance
- Experience and knowledge of Cryptocurrencies, Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies Trading
- Ability to analyse and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes
- Demonstrated fluency in business processes and process differentiation
- Experience developing readiness programs, training or stakeholder engagement
- Strong project management, ability to manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building and communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication with outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to handle ambiguity and can be flexible in their approach
- Strategic forward thinking approach to challenges, influencing, negotiating and persuasion skills
- Passionate, diligent and resilient individual with ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

Preferred requirement:

- Have experience in BPMN or similar formal process notation skills
