**What the role is**

Join the Rehabilitation and Protection Group (RPG) As part of the RPG family, the Child Protective Service (CPS) is a statutory service and it leads in child protection policies and processes to safeguard the safety and well-being of children and young persons in Singapore. The science and art of our work remain very much firmly rooted on keeping children safe from harm, working in partnership with families and stakeholders such as the schools, hospitals and other community partners.
**What you will be working on**
- Conduct investigations to assess if unethical practices are adopted to source and match the Child to Applicants;
- Provide necessary support to partners who will need assistance in their investigations into unethical practices;
- Any other tasks/projects that may be assigned
**What we are looking for**
- Tertiary qualifications; degree in any human services related field or criminology will be an advantage - Experience in the human services or those with investigative experience will be an added advantage - Able to work independently as well as in a team - Ability to undertake both macro perspectives and in-depth analysis - Good analytical and critical thinking abilities - Demonstrate personal integrity and accountability - Is tenacious, meticulous, curious and resilient in handling difficult situations/ aggressive clients - Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with different groups and sectors - Is resourceful and knowledgeable in meeting the needs of children - Empathetic to the needs of children, youth and families in need of services from Child Welfare - Able to work calmly in highly stressful situations and environment
