As the sales director of the SMB sales unit, you will be responsible for the sales force and all sales related issues. This includes not only leading your team according to the agreed KPIs, but also to generate revenue and profitability according to forecast and growth plans. You are responsible for communication of results to all internal stakeholders.
**Your role**:
- Leverage on your extensive network of sales contacts and years of sales experience in managing SME clients to lead your team according to the agreed KPIs
- Curate a consistent and results-driven system for your sales team to seek out qualified sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- Collaborate with team members (tech, B2B marketing, campaign managers etc) to improve product and service delivery, ideally with consistent client retention and upselling opportunities identified through technology
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with customers to be seen as a trusted consultant at all level
**Requirements**:
- At least 8+ years of sales experience
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills with acute business sense
- Entrepreneurial with excellent communication skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure
- Proven track record in identifying new opportunities and closing SME clients with a fast turn around and retention strategy
- Strong understanding of digital advertising is a bonus
- Good understanding of how to run and measure performance with relevant KPIs
- Experience working in a highly collaborative environment with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with using CRM platform such as Salesforce or Infusionsoft is a bonus
