**The Role
The Composers and Authors Society of Singapore (COMPASS) is a non-profit organisation representing composers, authors and publishers. As a collective management organisation, we license musical works and collect performance royalties on our members’ behalf. COMPASS shall be regulated by the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Meeting with music users to educate, advise and resolve simple conflicts.
- Conducting on-site visits to F&B, retail and entertainment outlets from time to time.
- Reviewing documents and preparing reports for enforcement actions.
- Keeping up to date on developments in music copyright laws and news in the music industry.

**Key requirements**
- Degree/ Diploma/ GCE A-Level holder.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both in written form and verbally.
- Able to identify, analyse and resolve issues.
- Able to handle difficult situations with tact.
- Detailed, organised and a team-player.

**Good-to-haves**
- Able to communicate in Mandarin and other dialects.
- Able to think creatively and provide commercially practical solutions.
- Prior experience with regulatory matters or customer service.
- Interest in the music and entertainment industry
