Introduction
AltLayer Network is a runtime execution and elastic scaling layer for all blockchains. AltLayer equips both EVM and non-EVM chains (e.g., Polkadot and Terra) with on-demand EVM/WASM execution layer. To handle surge requests on L1s/L2s, AltLayer enables dApps to quickly spin off custom execution layer (flash layers) to serve users, with near-instant finality(< 2s), low gas fees (< 0.01USD) and high throughput(~2,000 tps).
AltLayer Network is developed by the industry’s blockchain veterans and award-winning researchers, who previously worked at Parity, Zilliqa, Synthetix, etc.
We are actively looking for top talents to join our fast-growing venture and together shape the future of finance. One role we are hiring for is a Business Development Manager, who will be working closely with our management team to nurture and grow new partnership opportunities with projects around the world. This role needs a fast learner for new technologies and innovations, and most importantly, a go-getter.
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive the relationship building with other potential fintech ventures including dApps and platforms which can adopt the technology
- Understand the strengths and weaknesses of similar products and solutions
- Build and develop campaigns promoting products and services in cooperation with the marketing team
- Discover competitors and create tactics to grow
**Requirements**:
- Experience in the financial or IT industry is highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with at least 2 years of experience on a sales or business development role
- Curiosity about learning new technologies and developments
- Both a great team player and a strong independent performer
- Enjoy the entrepreneurial set-up with self initiative to keep broadening your borders
