- Location: Pioneer, Singapore- Reporting to: Applications Lab Manager-
**Main Responsibilities**:
**Application**
- Manage the workload of team and coordinate overtime
- Be a point of contact in the lab for daily lab deliverables and for quality assurance
- Analyze the root cause on defects to eliminate and avoid repeat defects
- Continuous improvement to the work processes for better quality and efficiency
- Safely operate, maintain and organize lab equipment
- Ensure the lab is in neat and orderly condition following good lab practices

**People Management**
- Supervise a team of Technicians on an operational level - plan, organize and optimize their work
- Mentor lab employees
- Keep the team motivated, united and focused on the job and alert early to Lab Manager if there are any concerns
- Work together with other team lead to ensure seamless operation

**Knowledge Sharing & Expertise**
- Network with internal contacts to exchange and update knowledge

**Environmental Health & Safety**
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized lab environment following EH&S policies
- Monitor compliance with the EH&S requirements of the supervised employees and understand the hazards and risk in the responsible area

**Main Qualifications**
- Degree or Diploma Holder in Chemistry or related fields
- 6 years or more experience in lab environment
- Experience managing lab team for at least 2 years
- Experience in Continuous Improvement projects (preferred)
