**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to**:
**Fuels Pricing Enablement (System/ Digital Tools)**:

- Acts as the regional SME for all pricing system matters, including SAP pricing modules
- Liaison with Global IT, PAD, digital teams on system and digital tools issues and improvements
- Monitors the business to ensure optimization of system use for execution of pricing tactics focused on maximizing revenues and consistent with business plan objectives
- Joint responsibilities with country pricing specialist to maintain integrity and data accuracy of pricing systems and digital tools

**Digital Dashboards / Tools**
- Serve as the SME on identifying and steering the use of relevant data sources (that can go beyond pricing) for uncovering insights and decision making.
- Support the continued operations and maintenance of relevant digital tools in partnership with digital teams
- Drive continuous improvement of digital dashboards, tools and processes, in partnership with digital teams; where relevant, drive self-help
- Drive the continuous education of the pricing team in relevant areas of digital transformation (I.e. leveraging emerging tech trends, change management, focus on user-experience, ensuring data quality and consistency)
- Support the digitalization of manual processes, driving prioritization, considering relevant cost-benefit perspectives.

**Lead/ Support Regional Pricing Analyses, Initiatives and Projects**
- Deep dive review and analysis of tactical pricing activities (eg. Retailer price support, customer discounts, promotional activities, etc) with aim of identifying and developing implementation plan to capture profit opportunities and developing best practice. This would include facilitation of workshops, engagement with country stakeholders, performance tracking and look-backs
- Develop and implement fit-for-purpose model for tracking pricing-related market information
- Review and refine existing country pricing enablement with identifying streamlining and efficiency opportunities, and developing decision support package to create visibility among senior management, sales team and relevant stakeholders to improve decision-making on key indicators (volume, discounts, price dispersion)
- IP growth projects and other VCO supported initiatives.

**Regional Collaboration and Support**:

- Backup country pricing support (when required)
- Coordinate with Business Planning and Finance on all pricing/ margin guidance requirements, including annual business plan development, customer account planning, project screening tool, product clearance process, etc
- Support the Regional Pricing Manager with analysis of monthly business results and pricing performance and understanding of market drivers at country-channel levels

**Compliance**:

- Coordinate, monitor, and address areas of concerns for all regional SOX compliance/ regulatory related pricing requirements
- Oversee and update all access rights for IP users to pricing system

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree as minimum education, preferably in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Data Analytics/Science or related
- Pricing experience and knowledge of pricing systems are an advantage
- Proficiency with Python and Data Science techniques and tools are an advantage
- Ability to proactively identify improvement opportunities to existing processes
- Exceptional problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong commercial acumen, able to connect from data analysis to market insight and to business/ pricing action
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with PowerBI, Power Automate and Sharepoint

**Relocation Options**:
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
