Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Engineer, Data Center Facilities Management . The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong leadership abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and leading daily maintenance and operations of data center facilities. This includes performing routine activities such as critical system checks and functional testing, responding to mechanical and electrical alarms/faults, identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions. Additionally, they will facilitate data center projects, coordinate with external contractors, and ensure that all activities are executed within operational standards and timelines.

Technical and Customer Support:

The engineer will attend to customer requests, deliver installations, and coordinate with the design and construction teams to meet customer needs. They will also ensure that service level agreements and key performance indicators are met or exceeded.

Events and Accreditation Support:

The engineer will schedule, coordinate, and complete planned and emergency maintenance events. They will also undertake assigned tasks to support various accreditation initiatives, such as BCA-IDA Green Mark DC/QMS/ISMS/BCMS/PCIDSS/OSPAR, and comply with established standard operating procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent qualifications, with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in data center facilities management and operations.
  • Strong technical and functional skills and knowledge of facilities management and operations.
  • Ability to commit to 24x7 rotating shift duty.
  • Excellent communication skills.
