The Facilities Operations Manager will be responsible for executing and leading daily maintenance and operations of data center facilities, ensuring serviceability of all active and redundant equipment.

This role requires a degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent qualifications, with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in data center facilities management and operations. Alternatively, candidates without the required academic credentials but with at least 4 years of relevant working experience in data center facilities management and operations are also welcome to apply.

This role involves routine facilities activities, including critical system checks and functional testing. It also involves responding to Mechanical and Electrical alarms/faults, identifying and analyzing trends, and implementing corrective actions as needed. Additionally, it entails facilitating data center projects, site construction activities, and installations, coordinating with external contractors and testing in adherence to operational standards.

The selected candidate will work closely with customers to ensure contracted service level agreements and key performance indicators are met or exceeded. They will attend to customer requests and deliveries, such as installations and coordination with design & construction teams. Furthermore, they will involve in scheduling, coordination, and completion of planned and emergency maintenance events, and support various accreditation, certification, and compliance initiatives.

Key skills and knowledge include strong technical and functional skills and knowledge of facilities management and operation. Relevant skills include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, water, construction, fire protection, customer support, data center, electrical, service level, compliance, scheduling, manufacturing, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, facilities management, and EHS.

  • Degree graduates in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent qualifications
