Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Specialist

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and physically fit individual to fill the role of Grounds Maintenance Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining trees, shrubs, turf, and flowerbeds in designated areas, as well as performing routine landscape maintenance tasks such as watering, weeding, pruning, trimming, and soil aeration.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Grounds Maintenance Specialist will also be required to operate and care for gardening tools and basic motorized equipment, clear horticultural waste, and maintain a safe working environment by following workplace safety and health guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Physical Fitness: The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions is essential for this role.
  • Education: A minimum of Primary or Secondary ('O' Level) education is required.
  • Previous Experience: Prior landscaping or gardening experience is an advantage but not necessary. WSQ Level 1 certification in Landscape Operations is preferred, but training will be provided for those without it.
  • Skills: Positive working attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn are all important qualities for success in this position.
