Job Title: Aircraft Ground Support Equipment Specialist

Aircraft Ground Support Equipment Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient aircraft handling at airports. This position involves performing various ground support activities such as marshalling, towing, and installing/remove wheel chocks and grounding cables.

  • Perform Aircraft Docking Guidance System (ADGS) and manual marshalling of aircraft to ensure safe aircraft movement on the ramp area.
  • Inspect bays regularly to prevent Foreign Object Debris (FOD) from causing damage or injury.
  • Install/remove wheel chocks and grounding cables to prepare aircraft for pushback or towing operations.
  • Connect/disconnect tow bar to the air tug to enable safe towing of aircraft.
  • Deliver ground support equipment including maintenance steps to ensure smooth airport operations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum NITEC in Engineering or equivalent with 1 year of working experience in Airline industries is preferred.
  • Comfortable with 12 hours shift work arrangement.
  • Candidate with LTA Class 3/4/5 license will have added advantage.
