Job Title: Aircraft Ground Operations

Aircraft Ground Operations professionals are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of aircraft on the ground.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operate all equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently within permitted classes.
  • Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment, reporting any malfunctions or damages to supervisors immediately.
  • Perform Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walks on aircraft parking stands.
  • Perform manual marshalling or operate Aircraft Docking Guidance Systems at aircraft parking stands.
  • Place and remove aircraft wheel chocks and safety cones based on airlines' requirements.
  • Ensure that all vehicles and equipment are free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
  • Perform general loading and unloading operations, ensuring proper handling and placement to avoid damage.
  • Perform duties on docking and withdrawing of Passenger Loading Bridges.
  • Read and interpret Container Pallet Messages (CPM) & Loading Instruction Reports (LIR).
  • Act as mentors to new recruits in the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all workplace safety and health policies and security protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPEs).
  • Adhere to airport authority rules and regulations, dnata Ground Operation Manuals (dGOM), and airlines' GOMs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum secondary education and above.
  • Must possess minimum LTA Class 3 driving licenses or any state driving license equivalent to LTA Class 3.
  • Able to obtain Airfield Driving Permits (ADPs) after attending Airfield Rules & Regulations Courses conducted by internal trainers, and passing CAG Airfield Rules Tests (ARTs) and Airside Driving & Safety Compliance Tests (ADSCTs).
  • Able to upgrade Airfield Driving Permits after attending internal Class 4D and Class 5S Training, and passing respective driving tests conducted by internal instructors and testers.
