Job Summary
Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Sales Manager responsible for expanding our customer base in targeted areas. The role involves maintaining the quality and efficiency of our sales process, working with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Programs. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Approach B2B customers in Government, Data Centre, HPC, e-commerce, and Telco sectors.
Develop superior customer service relationships with prospects.
Represent and sell the full Supermicro product and service portfolio to large enterprise customers.
Establish credibility as a trusted advisor to client executives.
Research and understand clients' industries, business strategies, and challenges.
Act as a trusted advisor, shaping deals early in the sales cycle to ensure profitable revenue growth.
Align Supermicro capabilities with client business and IT priorities, positioning against competitors.
Engage with decision-makers at all levels, including CEOs.
Collaborate cross-functionally to track orders and expedite repairs.
Generate sales and forecasting reports monthly and quarterly.
Consistently achieve sales quotas.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
7-10 years of experience in IT industries.
Ability to work independently and in teams.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proactive attitude.
Proven sales success with a track record of exceeding targets.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
