The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service ( ) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full-time roles in the sector.
The role is primarily operational and is focused on developing and executing large-scale, multi-agency healthcare readiness exercises. The job holder requires strong operational coordination, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage diverse stakeholders toward common preparedness goals.
What You Will Be Working On
Emergency Preparedness Exercises: Support the designing, planning, and execution of MOH-level Healthcare Readiness Exercise for public hospitals and polyclinics.
Develop exercise objectives, scenarios, master event lists, and injects.
Provide operational support during execution and control of exercises.
Conduct After Action Reviews (AARs) and generate reports with recommendations.
Stakeholder Coordination and Sector Integration
Coordinate exercise and preparedness efforts with hospitals, polyclinics, internal MOH divisions, and external agencies.
Engage stakeholders to ensure participation, buy-in, and integration of plans.
Crisis Response and Ad-hoc Operations
Support operational responses (e.g., contact centre setup, workflow redesign) during crises or drills.
Support incident command structures during actual events.
Communication and Influence
Prepare and deliver reports and briefings for MOH Senior Management.
Advocate for emergency preparedness priorities across the sector.
What We Are Looking For
Relevant Experience and Competencies/Proficiency Levels: Entry-level Position, Polytechnic diploma or university degree, preferably in healthcare-related disciplines.
