Senior Community Outreach Coordinator
About the Role:
The Senior Community Outreach Coordinator plays a pivotal part in conceptualizing, designing, executing, and evaluating comprehensive programs and activities aimed at enhancing the overall well-being of seniors within our community. This role ensures that all programs and activities align with our organization's mission to support ageing in place and promote active, dignified ageing.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Program Development: Develop daily/weekly/monthly calendars of activities, including social outings for seniors. Ensure smooth execution of programs including venue setup, materials preparation, and attendance tracking. Design and implement programs that benefit seniors' health and wellbeing. Coordinate with external trainers, and volunteers to deliver specialized wellness sessions. Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness through surveys, interviews, or collaboration with partners. Maintain accurate records of participants, program outcomes, and incident reports.
2) Stakeholder Engagement: Recruit social members (seniors). Manage CWA records of social members to ensure records are up to date. Liaise with community partners, corporations and volunteers to enhance program offerings. Build rapport with seniors and their families to encourage participation and feedback. Stay apprised of current measures and development in the community ecosystem. Integrate and innovate measures to enhance ageing well amongst caregivers/seniors.
3) Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting: Prepare monthly reports and program reviews for internal reporting and funders. Collect and analyze data to refine and improve program quality and senior satisfaction. Support grant proposals and outcome reporting related to programs and activities.
Requirements:

• Strong program/project management skills.
• Relevant diploma or degree qualifications with at least one year of job experience.
• A recognized Personal Training qualification (ACE, FISAF, FIC, BEC etc.) will be an advantage.
• Team player with good initiative and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with seniors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
