**Job Title:** Community Outreach Coordinator
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community Outreach Coordinator. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families affected by incarceration.
The successful candidate will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of community programs that connect volunteers with children in need. This is a hands-on role that offers valuable experience in community work, event coordination, and volunteer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate community outreach initiatives and special projects.
- Support and facilitate first home visits for the Learning Friends Program.
- Assist in onboarding, training, and befriending sessions for volunteers.
- C Coordinate ad-hoc volunteers to provide childminding support during Caregiver Support Group and Adult Befriender monthly sessions.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work, Education, or related field.
- Experience in community work or volunteer engagement is an asset.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and design tools like Canva.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
