About the Role
We are partnering with a leading retail client to hire an Assistant HR Manager (Generalist). This is a great opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys a broad generalist role covering HR operations, employee lifecycle management, payroll review, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, and employee records.
Review and validate payroll processed by an external payroll vendor, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Support annual compensation reviews, benefits administration, and HR reporting.
Partner with managers on recruitment, performance management, and employee relations matters.
Contribute to employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
Ensure HR practices are compliant with local employment legislation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
5-7 years of HR generalist experience, with exposure to payroll review and vendor management.
Strong knowledge of Singapore labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
