Job Overview

The Quantity Surveyor role is responsible for coordinating the tender and contract process, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of quantities, materials, and costs. This involves sourcing new vendors, performing quantity take-offs, and estimating costs.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Sourcing new vendors and providing cost comparisons.
  • Quantity take-off and cost estimation.
  • Ensuring contract quantities and variations orders are up-to-date for awarded projects.
  • Managing contractual claims from pre-tender to post-contract stage.
  • Preparing progress claims in a timely manner when required.
  • Collaborating with design and project teams.
  • May be required to attend site surveys as needed.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Design & Build, specializing in large commercial/corporate office fit-out projects.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems and Brava will be advantageous.
