Singlife is a leading homegrown financial services company, offering consumers a better way to financial freedom. Singlife is the exclusive insurance provider for the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Home Affairs and Public Officers Group Insurance Scheme. Singlife is also an official signatory of the United Nations Principles for Sustainable Insurance and the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment, affirming its commitment to finding a better way to sustainability.
The merger of Aviva Singapore and Singlife was announced in September 2020 and created one of the largest homegrown financial services companies in Singapore in a deal valued at S$3.2 billion. It was the largest insurance deal in Singapore at the time.
Singlife was subsequently acquired by Sumitomo Life in March 2024, one of Japan’s leading life insurers, which valued Singlife at S$4.6 billion, making the transaction one of the largest insurance deals in Southeast Asia.
Requirements:
Work on new initiatives & manage activities at ministries, stat boards, camps, units, to reach out to the eligible members.
Increase awareness and take up of voluntary insurance via events, talks, and campaigns.
Work closely with partners and attend to their needs, requests, and enquiries on the group insurance.
Co-ordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to manage events and campaigns end to end.
Handle customer queries and other sales and servicing matters.
Ensure that service commitments and obligations are met and fulfilled.
Experience:
Experience in sales of voluntary group insurance and business development.
Outspoken, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to think and communicate creatively.
Event management and administration skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and Government-related agencies.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to thrive under minimal guidance.
Professional Certification(s): CFMAS (mandatory M5, HI, M9, GI).
Complete Fit & Proper assessments successfully on an annual basis at minimum, or when other adjunct appointments are made.
