For more information aboutACCESS Health , please visit: JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES: The Partnerships Associate will support the Partnerships Team in enhancing collaboration with stakeholders, fostering strategic relationships, and contributing to public health initiatives. This role involves conducting research, drafting proposals, documenting meeting minutes, and providing comprehensive support to ensure the effective implementation of programs and activities. Key Job Responsibilities: Research and Analysis : Conduct thorough research on public health trends, policies, and best practices to inform partnership strategies. Analyze data and prepare reports that highlight key findings relevant to potential and existing partnerships. Proposal Development : Assist in drafting and editing proposals for funding and partnership opportunities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and public health priorities. Collaborate with team members to gather necessary information and insights for proposal submissions. Meeting Coordination and Documentation: Schedule and coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Take detailed meeting minutes, capturing key discussions, decisions, and action items. Distribute meeting summaries and follow up on action items as necessary Stakeholder Engagement : Support the development and maintenance of relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and private sector partners. Assist in organizing and coordinating meetings, workshops, and events to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing. Administrative Support : Provide general administrative assistance to the different teams, including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and tracking partnership activities. Contribute to the development of communication materials, presentations, and reports as needed. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES: Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Experience: Previous experience (preferably 2 years) in public health, partnerships, or research roles is desirable. Desirable: Familiarity with proposal writing and project management is an advantage Skills and Competencies: Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools. Passionate about improving public health outcomes and promoting equitable access to healthcare. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. Nature of Employment: The selected candidate shall be offered a one-year contract, with the possibility of extension, based on the continued availability of funding and performance.
