Job Role To assist the Head of Home is responsible for the overall management of the Home's operational needs and complying with the regulatory requirements. Duties and Responsibilities Assist the Head in the centre's management, its environment and the safe custody of residents and staff. Maintain proper records (ie; Admission and Discharge Register, Records of Resident's Personal Effects and Discipline Records. Ensure that all records, accounts, documents and correspondence are properly maintained, kept current and up to date. Assist to craft, review and implement the Standard Operations Procedure, Best Practices and Business Continuity Plans. Develop training roadmap and conduct trainings for staff. Develop, write and implement SOPs. Assist the Head of Home in monitoring the execution and review of Strategic Plan. Assist the Head in the vetting and approval of all Case Management reports and care plans for all residents. Provide guidance and case directions for the Case Management Department. Be present at Review Committee and Advisory Board meetings and Family Conference to answer queries or clarifications. To ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to internal and external parties (i.e. the Ministry, other government agencies, etc.) Conduct regular assembly sessions with young persons on feedback in the Centre. To assist the Head of Home to provide guidance and support to all Home staff. Liaise with Clinical Consultants, Psychologists, Psychiatrist for consultation sessions on challenging cases. To support the HOH in raising the profile and quality of care of the Home by recommending and managing initiatives including fundraising, partnerships and programmes with corporations and donors. Assist the Head in providing guidance and support to other staff. Hold initial interview with new admissions and their caregivers. Responsible for the development of the Centre and provide support to the Operations of the Centre. Support all PERTAPIS programmes and activities throughout organisation or duties as and when required. Carry out any other duties assigned by Head of Home and Management. Requirements Minimum degree, preferably in social work or psychology, or equivalent Min. 3 years of relevant working experience Knowledge of basic IT (MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) Good interpersonal and communication skill (oral and written) Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
