The Asia Pacific Strategic Sales Manager will support the Controls Southeast (CSI) and O’Brien/Cardinal brands of the Thermal Process Management business unit in the Process & Analytical Instrumentation (P&AI) division.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Discover and secure new project opportunities from clients within the Asia Pacific region.
Strengthen relationships with existing clients and develop new client relationships.
Engage clients via phone, face-to-face meetings, technical presentations, and operational audits.
Work with the estimating team on proposal strategies and project execution planning.
Track and update sales forecasts regularly.
Identify, train, and manage local sales representatives.
Manage regional key accounts.
Schedule meetings and optimize travel based on client engagement and sales potential.
Reach out to prospective clients and follow up with existing clients regarding system performance and new opportunities.
Educate engineering firms, end users, and system integrators about TPM technologies and collaborate on project specifications.
Prepare and deliver presentations to engineering and plant personnel.
Collaborate internally with technical, estimating, engineering, and production teams to ensure successful project execution.
Update clients on product modifications and enhancements.
Represent TPM at conferences and trade shows.
Maintain sales forecasts and client management data.
Manage travel expense reports.
Meet or exceed quarterly and annual booking goals.
Requirements for the Sales Manager, Asia Pacific
Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
Engineering Degree required; Mechanical or Process Engineering preferred.
5-7 years of experience in refining/petrochemical, semiconductor, or offshore industries.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management, organization, and multitasking abilities.
Good judgment in business situations.
Client-focused approach.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and client management software.
