Executive Turkish Chef
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook authentic Turkish cuisine including kebabs mezes grilled meats breads and traditional desserts.
- Maintain consistency in taste quality and presentation of dishes according to restaurant standards.
- Plan and manage daily kitchen operations ensuring food preparation portion control and inventory meet expectations.
- Promote proper food hygiene cleanliness and adherence to culinary practices and regulations.
- Monitor stock levels place orders and minimize wastage effectively.
- Develop train and mentor junior kitchen staff to optimize workflow and ensure seamless service.
- Create new innovative Turkish dishes or seasonal menu items to attract customers and enhance the dining experience.
- Collaborate with management to ensure customer satisfaction and deliver exceptional service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turkish Chef or specialty cook preferably in a high-end restaurant setting.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of traditional Turkish recipes spices and cooking techniques.
- Exhibit ability to work independently handle a fast-paced kitchen environment efficiently and maintain composure under pressure.
- Display excellent teamwork and communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with colleagues.
- Be willing to work weekends and public holidays as part of the duty roster and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Hold advanced knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices and be committed to upholding the highest standards.
