Role
Sales Channels & Business Development Executive
Responsibilities
To develop new Tourism Sales opportunities and FMCG export business opportunities through extensive networking.
To capture market share and work with team to lead the Company to a strong position in Tourism Sales and FMCG export market.
To achieve contact and collaborations with the different stakeholders in the Tourism sector and FMCG export market sector.
Open new sales channels
Open new markets locally and overseas
Generate revenue from the contacts in the extensive networking, including through upselling and cross-selling to the different contacts in your networks.
Planning and arranging contracts for the collaboration partners.
Work with team to plan and execute tactical campaigns to drive product awareness and outreach
Work with team to ensure consistency and accuracy in brand identity and brand and product marketing.
Partner with strategic alliances such as banks, tel-cos, corporate companies and content partners to create awareness for brand to secure sales in the identified markets (overseas).
Work closely with Offline and Online Platforms, ecommerce marketplaces and other e-commerce players to market and distribute our brand and products overseas
Monitor & track campaigns performance
Ensure accuracy of online content for all our products
Provide market intelligence on overall ecommerce and business trend of the region
Be the main in-charge for various accounts / channels
Meet set sales targets.
Work with team to update weekly, monthly sales reports and assist with annual report preparation.
Requirements
What we are looking for and believe you need as an ideal candidate:
Strong experience in FMCG export Sales and/or Business Development.
Preferably have experience in trade shows and events.
Preferably with own vehicle of transport
Strong team player with initiative and high level of dedication and ability to perform under pressure.
Able to cope well in a dynamic and challenging work environment as well as with stress and demanding work schedules
Ability to work independently and completes given tasks with minimum supervision required
Self-motivated with the ability to identify business development opportunities and strategies and campaigns
Confident, meticulous, independent, creative individuals with a strong sense of responsibility and proactiveness
Highly motivated and well organized with a sense of urgency
Ability to work towards tight deadlines
Has excellent command of English (written, verbal and interpersonal), and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong in Microsoft Office is a must.
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator is preferred.
A Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree.
Minimum 3 years experience
Working Days / Hours
5.5 days a week
Mondays to Fridays: 8.30am to 5.30pm
Saturdays: 8.30am to 12.30pm (when required)
