Job Summary

An Assistant SME Relationship Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Business Relationship Manager in managing and cultivating relationships with clients.

This is a permanent hire role for one of the Financial Institutions, offering a unique opportunity for career advancement and potential growth into a Relationship Manager position.

The ideal candidate will be exposed to learning experiences and mentorship that contribute to their professional development, including skills in financial analysis, credit evaluation, and relationship management.

The role involves liaising with clients to complete credit applications, financial data, and documentation, as well as assisting in credit evaluation and operational verification.

The successful candidate will possess strong business acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients to complete credit applications, financial data, and documentation.
  • Assist in credit evaluation and operational verification, including site visits when necessary.
  • Process credit memos and maintain updated records of loan applications and monitor progress of existing loans.
  • Approach potential clients to establish relationships and understand client needs.
  • Develop plans and solutions to address client needs and support department-related activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience.
  • Experience in SME/Credit Companies is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge to analyze Company Audit reports is an added advantage.
  • Proactive, energetic, and possessing strong business acumen along with excellent networking capabilities.
  • High integrity, adept at communicating with individuals at all organizational levels, and open-minded with a determined work ethic.
  • Demonstrates a strong determination to achieve goals and overcome challenges.
