We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Retail Operations Manager to lead our expanding network of stores across Singapore. In this role, you'll take the lead in daily retail operations, grow sales, optimize processes, and champion IUIGA's customer-first culture. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and have the autonomy to make an impact while scaling one of Singapore's most loved home & living brands.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Retail Operations Management
  • Lead daily operations across all IUIGA retail outlets to ensure high standards of execution and store excellence.
  • Implement and continually refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. Marketing, Logistics, Creative) to address operational challenges and customer feedback.
2. Sales & Business Performance
  • Drive monthly sales targets and implement strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Monitor KPIs such as sales performance, footfall, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Analyze sales data by brand and category, and prepare performance recaps for senior management.
3. Staff Leadership & Training
  • Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and retention of retail staff.
  • Build and execute retail training programs including onboarding, product knowledge, sales techniques, customer service, SOPs, and POS systems.
  • Create a positive, motivated team culture focused on accountability and excellence.
4. Visual Merchandising & Store Standards
  • Ensure all stores are consistently maintained according to IUIGA's visual merchandising guidelines, hygiene standards, and overall brand image.
  • Conduct frequent store visits to assess execution, reinforce training, and identify opportunities for improvement or additional brand visibility.
5. Inventory & Stock Management
  • Maintain optimal stock levels and oversee inventory processes including stocktake, replenishment, and loss prevention.
  • Partner with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely stock flow and resolve any discrepancies.
6. Strategic Reporting & Planning
  • Develop and manage regular reporting processes: sales performance, category trends, new launches, and competitor insights.
  • Share market analysis and identify mid-to-long term strategies to drive growth and brand positioning.
  • Lead internal sales meetings to align teams, cascade key updates, and maintain motivation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a retail management or retail operations role. Experience in Home & Living is a strong plus.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, train, and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Excellent business acumen, analytical and reporting skills; results-driven mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication skills-both verbal and written.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
  • Digitally savvy and comfortable with retail systems and tools.
  • Flexible, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
