Job Description: Head of Business Development Position Type : Full-time, In-office About Rubick.ai Rubick.ai is one of the fastest-growing eCommerce enablement platforms. We specialise in Product Discovery, Search, and Market Intelligence for marketplaces, brands, and sellers. We offer an end-to-end full-stack Product Information, Cataloging, and Marketing platform as a solution for eCommerce. Rubick has catalogued over 5M SKUs for 200+ leading eCommerce brands like Amazon, Hudson Bay US, Zilingo Singapore, The Luxury Closet-UAE, and Myntra in India, the US, Singapore, and other international markets. As the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive growth, revenue, and market expansion for Rubick.ai. You will play a key leadership role in building partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and leading a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in business development, a deep understanding of the AI and technology landscape, and the ability to forge relationships at the highest levels. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth, identify new opportunities, and align with company goals. Sales & Revenue: Oversee sales processes, manage pipeline, secure new deals, and drive customer acquisition and retention. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing business development team, set clear objectives, and foster a culture of results. Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key industry players, clients, and partners to expand business. Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, analyze competitors, and provide insights to guide product and pricing strategies. Performance Reporting: Track and report on business development performance, adjusting strategies for continuous improvement. Key Requirements Experience : Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in business development, with a focus on AI, technology, or SaaS industries. Leadership : Strong leadership and management experience, including building and leading high-performing teams. Strategic Thinking : Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Proven success in growing business, expanding market share, and driving revenue. Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of AI technologies, trends, and business applications. Negotiation Skills : Expertise in negotiating high-value contracts, partnerships, and enterprise sales. Communication : Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Results-Oriented : A track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
